From November 26 to 29, 2025, Astemo made a remarkable appearance at Automechanika Shanghai 2025 (referred to as the "Shanghai Frankfurt Auto Parts Show"). Underpinned by a new brand strategy and a complete product portfolio, the division comprehensively showcased its systematic solutions for safe, comfortable, and eco-friendly mobility.


Full Brand Lineup Demonstrates Technical Strength


At this exhibition, Astemo, together with its renowned brands including TOKICO, NISSIN, KEIHIN, and SHOWA, launched a full-scale display. With an extensive and rich product lineup, Astemo once again became a focal point of attention for both domestic and international visitors.


Core Product Matrix Covers Key Systems

Beyond classic products such as high-pressure fuel pumps, ignition coils, air flow sensors, and high-pressure injectors, this exhibition highlighted SHOWA-brand shock absorbers and the full range of NISSIN chassis system products. The braking system offerings included brake discs and pads, brake calipers, MGU parking control units, vacuum boosters, and master brake cylinders. The suspension series featured critical components such as control arms, ball joints, tie rods, and engine mounts.


In the fluid maintenance section, products like coolant, engine oil, refrigerant, brake fluid, and transmission fluid were prominently displayed. This showcased our ongoing innovation capabilities in vehicle performance enhancement and system maintenance. Related lubrication, cooling, and air conditioning system products have all achieved technological upgrades and performance optimizations. They precisely meet the stringent demands of traditional powertrains for efficient lubrication, energy conservation, emission reduction, and thermal management. This not only significantly improves vehicle operational performance but also delivers a more secure and reliable driving experience for vehicle owners.


Brand Renewal Launch and Deepening Commitment to the Chinese Market

During the exhibition, we successfully held the SHOWA Shock Absorber Brand Launch Event and the Astemo Global Brand Renewal Ceremony. Key partners, industry media, and on-site visitors participated and witnessed the opening of this new chapter for the brand.
Regarding the brand renewal, Jean-Baptiste Pellefigues stated: "In the face of future industry challenges, by integrating resources and increasing technological investment, we continue to drive innovation in advanced technologies and systematic solutions. In April of this year, the company officially changed its name to Astemo Co., Ltd. Our debut in Shanghai with this new image is precisely to leverage more robust technology and capabilities to deepen our roots in China's automotive aftermarket and provide superior services to our customers."


The launch of SHOWA brand

At the launch event, Benoit Girad systematically interpreted the development history and global footprint of the SHOWA brand. Duan Chunqiang, Product Department Manager of Astemo Aftermarket China, provided an in-depth technical explanation of the product advantages of SHOWA shock absorbers, focusing on the advanced technology of the intelligent electronically controlled adaptive suspension system. Bai Xuefeng, Sales Department Manager of Astemo Aftermarket China, elaborated on the sales strategy and development roadmap for SHOWA shock absorbers in China from perspectives including market collaboration, opportunity capture, and channel empowerment.


China Strategy: Local Deep Cultivation for Long-Term Shared Value

Li Huijia emphasized in her speech: "Astemo Aftermarket focuses on two core areas: engine management systems and intelligent chassis. Leveraging globally leading OEM-matching technology and engineering resources, we are continuously expanding our product lines and market coverage. We have established 22 production bases in China, committed to providing solid support to our customers. Moving forward, we will continue to build on our century-long brand reputation, achieve product differentiation through high quality, empower our partners, and jointly create sustainable value for end-users."


This event has garnered coverage from a number of leading Chinese automotive aftermarket media platforms, such as Auto Maintenance & Repair, Auto & Driving Maintenance. As of December 4th, the cumulative readership across both online and offline channels has surpassed 30,000, contributing to a notable increase in brand visibility and recognition for ASTEMO.
