Tokyo, October 10, 2025 - Astemo, Ltd. (hereafter "Astemo") will exhibit at EICMA 2025, one of the world's largest motorcycle shows, which will be held in Milan, Italy from November 4 to 9 (press days November 4-5). At Hall 5, A54, we will introduce next-generation suspension systems and ADAS*1 technology, which contribute to the safety and comfort of motorcycles.
*1 ADAS: Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems.
In recent years, the motorcycle market has seen growing demand for enhanced safety and comfort. To address these needs, Astemo will introduce technologies that include suspension systems that control damping force and ride height according to driving conditions, and ADAS systems that combine recognition cameras with vehicle integration control to provide riders with appropriate driving assistance in various riding situations.
Furthermore, we will introduce products contributing to the development of next-generation motorcycles, such as brake systems that enhance ride quality and enjoyment, and powertrain products that continue to advance in line with the evolving mobility landscape. In the motorsports corner, we will display racing suspension and brake systems adorned with our high-performance product symbol mark, mounted on a skeleton chassis that visualizes the products installed.
The main products and technologies to be exhibited are as follows.
We introduce ADAS features that further enhance safety and comfort for motorcycles--such as ACC*2, ISA*3, and AEB*4--fully leveraging the benefits of camera sensing through actual driving footage.
*2 ACC: Adaptive Cruise Control
*3 ISA: Intelligent Speed Assistance
*4 AEB: Autonomous Emergency Braking
We will showcase various ETB*5 products designed to maximize space efficiency, offer flexible adaptation to complete vehicle layouts, and be compatible with the latest super sports models. We also highlight the technological evolution of our powertrain products, from the foundational carburetors to the latest ETBs.
*5 ETB: Electronic Throttle Body
Our next-generation suspension systems optimize front and rear ride height adjustment and damping characteristics according to driving conditions. By achieving a high-level balance of comfort, stability, and sportiness, they handle a wide range of driving scenarios--from city driving to off-road and even when loaded.
We will exhibit our 4-pot*6 brake caliper series suited for a wide range of high-end to mid-range applications, lightweight off-road calipers that contribute to enhanced dynamic performance, and other products that contribute to safety and reliability.
*6 Pot: Refers to number of brake caliper pistons
